Batang Hari, Jambi – Kegiatan Pekan Nasional (Penas) Kontak Tani Nelayan Andalan (KTNA) ke XVI di Kota Padang Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Pemkab Batang Hari telah menyiapkan kontingen untuk mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, Jumat (09/06/2023).

Bupati Batang Hari Muhammad Fadhil Arief bersama Sekda dan Asisten 2 Setda beserta OPD lainnya, melepas para kontingen untuk ikut serta dalam kegiatan tersebut yang akan diselenggarakan pada 10-15 Juni 2023.

Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Batang Hari mengucapkan terimakasih kepada Kepala Dinas Pangan, Pertanian dan Perikanan Kab. Batang Hari beserta jajaran yang telah mempersiapkan dengan baik para kontingen yang akan berangkat menuju event tersebut.

Fadhil mengatakan, Penas KTNA merupakan forum pertemuan para kontak tani nelayan sebagai media konsolidasi, komunikasi dan informasi kontak tani selaku pelaku utama dengan pemerintah dan seluruh pemangku kepentingan atau pelaku usaha.

“Pelaksanaan PENAS KTNA itu adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kegairahan petani-nelayan dan masyarakat pelaku agribisnis. Secara khusus kegiatan ini hendaknya mempunyai tujuan meningkatkan kepemimpinan dan kemandirian KTNA untuk menguatkan kelembagaan KTNA, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan, meningkatkan jiwa wirausaha dan kesadaran terhadap lingkungan,” ujarnya.

Fadhil berharap agar para kontingen dapat menjaga nama baik Kabupaten Batang Hari serta bisa membawa pulang berbagai hal positif yang nantinya dapat bermanfaat serta menjadi inovasi bagi para peserta di masa yang akan datang.

“Untuk itu saya minta kepada seluruh peserta yang akan mengikuti kegiatan itu, agar bersungguh-sungguh dalam mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan, sehingga apa yang diperoleh pada kegiatan itu baik pengetahuan maupun keterampilan termasuk akses kerjasama bisnis, dapat meningkatkan percepatan pembangunan pertanian dalam arti luas di Provinsi Jambi terkhusus di Kabupaten Batang Hari yang kita cintai, yang pada akhirnya diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani dan nelayan,” jelas Muhammad Fadhil Arief.
